Windermere Elementary School PTO’s makerspace program is located in our Media Center’s southwest room. The makerspace helps students imagine, create, innovate, and learn using a variety of methods and tools. Windermere Elementary School is thrilled to be part of the burgeoning national maker movement exemplified by organizations like Make to Learn, MakeZine, Institute of Play, and the Maker Education Initiative.

Our makerspace hosts an amazing 3-D printer, robotics and circuitry kits, a cutting machine, crafting supplies, construction toys, and a host of other STEM tools.

Mrs. Diederich has set up an Amazon wish list of supplies that we need for the Makerspace.

Equally important are volunteers who want to help build and run the makerspace! Do you want to help? Contact us at [email protected].
