Welcome Back to School

The Windermere Elementary School PTO would like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning Mustangs. We look forward to a wonderful school year and are excited to have you on our team!

Our online calendar is a good guide to the important events that help us kick off the new school year. Please take a moment to review important dates and add them to your phone or personal calendar. You can use the Subscribe button to add our calendar directly to your Google or Outlook calendar and always keep up-to-date on school and PTO events.

We are always in need of parents with enthusiasm and a willingness to give — please consider volunteering your time and talents. Orange County Public School’s volunteer program is called ADDitions. Every parent must be pre-approved to volunteer on Windermere Elementary School grounds. Please apply today at ocps.net.

Join us at our ADDitions Volunteer Coffee to discover more about our programs and volunteer opportunities. Check the calendar!

Meet the Teacher: Kindergarten

Come and meet your child’s teacher and visit their classroom at our Meet the Teacher event!

In an abundance of caution and following recommendations from our Safety and Emergency Management department
we are requesting that only two adults accompany their child to Meet the Teacher. We are also asking that all non-school-aged
children are kept at home. These protocols will help us manage the attendance numbers and minimize exposure.

  • Vendors and school organizations will be present to help answer your questions and prepare you for the school year. You can register with the PTO, SAC, and Mustang Education Fund during this time. You can also register your child with ASP, our after-school provider.
  • Spirit wear will be available for purchase. Stop by to see the new items!
  • School planners will be available for purchase for $5 each. Please bring cash or checks for the school planners!
  • A transportation schedule will be available for students who ride the bus to school.
  • The media specialist will be on hand to answer questions about the one-to-one device initiative.
